Who we are
We are a community of Christians who have been meeting as a church in Stratford since 2001. We previously met at 4 McFarlane Drive but recently purchased the former St. Matthew Lutheran church building located at 382 Britannia Street. We have been meeting at this location since February 2010.
What We Believe
We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired word to us and is our authority and guide on how to live a life that is pleasing to God.
We believe that the “gospel” or good news is for everyone. This good news is that Jesus Christ has paid the penalty for our sin by His death on the cross. All who turn from their sin and trust in the sacrifice that Christ has made for them can have peace with God and have assurance of eternal life in heaven.
We believe that Christians should gather together to participate in four essential things that include: teaching from the Bible, worship, prayer and spending quality time together for support and encouragement.
Our Mission Statement
…to be an ever growing, vibrant family of believers, fully committed to following Christ’s mandate for His Church and effectively applying New Testament Principles in the 21st Century.
(Ephesians 4:4-6 & Colossians 1:10)
